ACROSS THE GREAT DIVIDE

This fun-filled afternoon excursion travels south from Snow Lodge and continues to West Thumb Geyser Basin, the largest geyser basin on the shore of Yellowstone Lake. Traversing Craig Pass, we’ll cross the Continental Divide into, and then back out of, Pacific Ocean drainage on our way to Yellowstone Lake, where we’ll walk around the West Thumb Geyser Basin, taking in such notable features as Abyss Pool, Black Pool, the Fishing Cone, and Lakeshore Geyser. For a fun afternoon, come lope over to West Thumb with us!

Old Faithful Snow Lodge
Over-snow transportation is required to and from Snow Lodge during the winter season, roads are closed to personal vehicles. We offer snowcoach transportation between Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Old Faithful Snow Lodge for an additional charge (reservations are required each direction).

Taxes and fees are included in the above prices.

If you feel we did a great job, our guides always welcome gratuities though they are not included in the rate.
