Traveling to and through Yellowstone National Park in winter poses a set of challenges uncommon to the summer visitor. Only the north and northeast entrances to the National Park and the Grand Loop Road through Lamar Valley are accessible to visitors driving their private vehicles in winter. To travel deeper into the park and to Old Faithful Snow Lodge, you must book over-snow transportation. We make this easy with our daily shuttle to Old Faithful Snow Lodge, which is also a guided tour. And if you want to leave all the driving to us, we offer a winter shuttle bus between Bozeman International Airport and Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel exclusively for Yellowstone National Park Lodges guests.
Old Faithful Snow Lodge is only accessible by over-snow transportation in the winter. Our twice daily snowcoaches between Mammoth Hot Springs Hotel and Old Faithful Snow Lodge are driven by interpretive guides, so every mile is a guided tour of Yellowstone’s extraordinary winter scenery.
