Upon arrival, the hotel’s massive white columns welcome you to a time of classic yet casual elegance. To further enhance the experience, we feature a string quartet in the Sun Room, scheduled from mid-June through early August, and a pianist at other times.  The hotel was also awarded Green Seal Lodging Certification for sustainable operations and is designated a National Historic Landmark.

Accommodations at Lake Yellowstone Hotel & Cabins

Presidential Suite

The Presidential Suite has two separate bedrooms, and a shared sitting room. It is located on the lake side of the hotel, and offers a partial view of the lake. The King bedroom has a full bathroom with shower and separate tub. The Queen bedroom has a full bathroom with tub/shower combination. This suite also provides a mini-refrigerator stocked with complimentary soft drinks and snacks, iron/ironing board, safe, heat, telephone, coffee maker, hairdryer, alarm clock, and fan. There is no air conditioning, TV, or radio and neither pets nor cooking are allowed. Most rooms are accessible via elevator, though there are a few steps to access the first floor of the East wing. All rooms are non-smoking/non-vaping. The Presidential suite has 1 King bed in one bedroom, 1 Queen bed in the other bedroom, and a Queen sofa sleeper in the sitting room.

Suite

The suites have a separate bedroom with shared living room, are on the lake side of the hotel, and offer a partial view of the lake. They have either a full bathroom or bathroom with shower only, mini-refrigerator stocked with complimentary soft drinks and snacks, iron/ironing board, safe, heat, telephone, coffee maker, hairdryer, alarm clock, and fan. There is no air conditioning, TV, or radio, and neither pets nor cooking are allowed. Most rooms are accessible via elevator, though there are a few steps to access the first floor of the East wing. All rooms are non-smoking/non-vaping. These Suites have 1 King bed in the bedroom, Queen sofa sleeper in the sitting room.

Deluxe Lakeside Hotel Room

These deluxe rooms are located on the lake side of the hotel and offer a partial view of the lake. They have a bathroom with shower only, iron/ironing board, safe, heat, telephone, coffee maker, hairdryer, alarm clock, and fan. There is no air conditioning, TV, or radio and neither pets nor cooking are allowed. Most rooms are accessible via elevator, though there are a few steps to access the first floor of the East wing. All rooms are non-smoking/non-vaping. These Deluxe Hotel Rooms have 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, or 2 Queen beds.

Deluxe Hotel Room

These deluxe rooms are located on the parking lot side of the hotel. They have either a full bathroom or bathroom with shower only, iron/ironing board, safe, heat, telephone, coffee maker, hairdryer, alarm clock, and fan. There is no air conditioning, TV, or radio and neither pets nor cooking are allowed. Most rooms are accessible via elevator, though there are a few steps to access the first floor of the East wing. All rooms are non-smoking/non-vaping. These Deluxe Hotel Rooms have 1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, 2 Queen beds.

Sandpiper Lodge Standard Room (Sandpiper Lodge is adjacent to the main hotel)

The standard rooms have 1 King bed or 1 Queen bed, with a full bathroom, safe, mini-refrigerator, iron/ironing board, heat, telephone, coffee maker, hairdryer, alarm clock, and fan. There is no air conditioning, TV, or radio and neither pets nor cooking are allowed. Upper-floor rooms are accessible by stairs only. All rooms are non-smoking/non-vaping. These Standard Lodge Rooms are located in the Sandpiper Lodge, which is a separate building adjacent to the main hotel. 

Cabin

The cabins have a bathroom with shower only, heat, coffee maker, hairdryer, alarm clock, and fan. Select cabins are pet friendly. There is no air conditioning, TV, telephone, or radio and cooking is not allowed. All cabins are non-smoking/non-vaping. These cabins are located behind the main hotel and have 2 Double beds. Select cabins are pet friendly.

ADA rooms are available (Select ‘Show ADA Rooms’ when searching our availability online or call us at 307-344-7311 regarding units for guests with disabilities and larger room sizes). A limited number of wheelchairs are available at the front desk on a first-come-first-served basis. Select cabins are pet-friendly. A maximum of 2 pets are allowed per pet-friendly cabin, with a $25 pet fee per unit. Pets (with the exception of service dogs) are not allowed on park buses & transportation, this is a federal law.

There is no wired or wireless internet in rooms or cabins.
